Our hand-selected collection features small rugs and mats ranging from 90 x 60cm to 136 x 90cm. The collection includes hand-knotted rugs from Afghanistan, handcrafted Persian rugs from Iran, and Indo-Gabbeh mats from India. Of course, only some of these are suitable as doormats. However, the fine silks from Kashmir and the flat woven Afghan and Persian Kilims are perfect small pieces for other areas. A beautiful patterned rug or colourful runner can transform a space. 

When investing in rugs or mats for your home, it's important to consider not only the rug's style and colour but also its material and durability. We highly recommend wool pile rugs for doorways and walkable areas, as these are strong and durable for heavy footfall. Cotton rugs are also good for doorways, as they are easy to clean and have a tight weave that will make them last a long time.
