You may return most items within 14 days of delivery for a full refund (excluding underlay). We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

Afghan Tribal pieces are new, innovative pieces utilizing ancient motifs and design, perhaps a little less busy than the Kazak pieces. They are usually panel designs, which may be three or four rows across. The collections we have found are lovely, fine, quality area rugs with distinct colours and patterns, which embrace the traditional craft in a way which fits modern ideas and colours. Although these tribal carpets and rugs are hand-knotted in Afghanistan using age-old methods of spinning wool, which has been vegetable-dyed, the basis of this design originates from the Caucasus. The short pile emphasizes the sharpness of the design. Each piece will be made from Afghan wool, often spun in Ghazni. The Afghan wool is generally slightly coarser and more curly than other wools and is excellent for carpet weaving. Afghan Tribal carpets are usually made using bold geometric designs in strong, vibrant colours, often with rich reds and warm terracottas, differing shades of blues with soft golds and creams.
The final stage of carpets in Pakistan involves many processes; initial tensioning and alignment problems may be undertaken, followed by surface clipping, herbal washing, and tumbling. This combination of Afghan weaving and finishing in Pakistan has been a great success. These carpets are closely knotted and usually finished with an interesting and unusual bound multicoloured fringe.

Our policy lasts 14 calendar days from the day after you receive all goods in an order. Once you've cancelled an order you then have a further 14 days to send the goods back. Once the returned goods have been received then we will arrange a full refund. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be securely packaged in weatherproof material (i.e. strong plastic)

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)
* Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
